just finished reading and loved this so much. the overlap between fiction and reality (and each informing the other) made the characters feel that much more fleshed out and entwined with their own art.
The character relationships and development in this are deliciously complex and very realised. I liked the bittersweet but uplifting tone on escaping child abuse/generational trauma, and exploration of how it interfaces with being first-generation diaspora. The laser beam tape animations were cool and clever too! I've doodled punchy a couple times but I didn't like it so you have to wait.
thank you!! i had fun making the images in one sitting and im glad the 89 cents i spent on red streamers were well spent. take all the time you need on that drawing i will be very very happy whenever i see it 🙂↕️
