i'm really wowed by this game. i love the rug pull when you realize what's going on near the beginning, it made me ponder to what extent watching intimate moments in a show is actually voyeuristic. and i loved the exploration of what it means to be obsessed with a character. when i was younger i spent a lot of time in online spaces where kin culture was a thing, and i realized over time that kinning is just a way of building up your identity when it is weak. you represented that experience very well here. also i just loved the choice of music, i've played arabesque no. 1 before so i'm very nostalgic about it. really great work

"building up your identity when it is weak" is a striking way to put it. i think we live in a time period where more than ever it feels like the average person's inundated with experiences, facing down all sorts of demanding priorities that are emotionally and existentially exhausting us, in all sorts of directions, and so it's my hope that as a society we can view this sort of experience with a little bit of empathy.
really enjoyed this. the introduction to the story was really well executed i quite enjoyed the shift in perspective forced on me. your writing does a perfect job in conveying the firm and dedicated obsession and what happens when something like this simply becomes a part of you. i like the description and sensation of how firmly rooted the character becomes, all the way to the end. thanks for sharing
